When I come for my color appointment, do you want my hair clean or dirty? Clean hair is always best. If it’s been a couple of days, no worries as long as there isn’t a ton of dry shampoo or gray cover-up powder. Hair color can’t penetrate as easily through product buildup.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner to use for hair color and/or extensions? Always use sulfate free & paraben free products. Kevin Murphy & Unite are my go to lines, I now offer Goldie Locks supplements & Hair care line. Check it out here.

What features should I look for when buying a new curling iron or straightener? Temperature gauge is a must. If you have fine/normal hair, look for a ceramic plated hot tool. If you have thick/coarse hair, titanium plated tools work best. Always stay under 400° when using your tools.

How long can I wait in between extension maintenance appointments?Your first move up will be at 7 weeks, and we will chat about how well you took care of them & move forward pushing out the move up to 8-12 weeks.

What’s the best treatment or product to fight the Virginia humidity?Brazilian blowouts! These treatments last up to 12 weeks with the proper take home products. They reduce frizz & cut out half your drying time!
